Thought For Today
Father God, I trust in Your Word
and in the abundance You have promised if I serve You and obey your
commandments. You ask me to be merciful
so You can be merciful, to judge not lest I be judged, to condemn not so I
won’t be condemned, to forgive so I can be forgiven. As I give of these, You will give to me. I make that my prayer today: that I can give freely, as You have.
“Give,
and it will be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together,
running over…”
(Luke 6:38 RSV).
